We have achieved, in the majority of cases, provision of a self-contained cubicle which replaces just the circuit breaker itself and mounted on existing framework and utilises the original power connections without the need for any alterations to the fixed portion of the switchboard. The technique includes measurement of actual temperatures of apparatus during normal operating conditions and our experience is used to evaluate whether the equipment is operating within its temperature range or whether an underlying fault is present which could result in eventual breakdown and the risk of fire.
